For 21 years the Len Sammons "MOTORSPORTS"
Production has united the auto racing fraternity during its off season.
Crowds of more than 40,000 fill the aisle ways during the three day
event, to closely look at new racing equipment, meet their racing
heroes, attend free seminars or stage shows, receive their favorite
speedway schedules, purchase the latest in racing sportswear and much
more.
MOTORSPORTS 2006 is not a show an attendee can spend an hour or
two to dige st.
It is the premier spectacular of the racing off season. Most attendees
can’t evaluate the entire show in less than two days. With over 150 racing vehicles from Top Fuel Dragsters, to a natural gas
powered Drawf Car and more than 270,000 square feet of exhibits, shows,
seminars, races, pitcrew competitions, and much more. A show admission
ticket is all that is needed to take advantage of this racing
phenomenon.
MOTORSPORTS 2006 is the largest event held at the Fort Washington
Expo Center, annually ranks as one of the top seven in attendance for a
weekend event in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. All local
motel/hotels are sold -out weeks in advance of the show. Not only does
the Expo Center and local businesses enjoy record business, but WPVI-ABC
TV channel 6 in the Philadelphia area has done follow-up stories on how
local business profit from the well attended event. NBC, CBS and FOX
have been there also, and not to forget TNN and ESPN along with
"This Week On DIRT".
Nationally known drivers that have attended the show include
the "who’s who" in the sport from NASCAR W inston Cup
champions Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony
Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough, Ned Jarrett, Rusty Wallace, Ricky Rudd, Benny Parsons,
and Terry Labonte to Indianapolis 500 stars Bobby Rahal, Mario and
Michael Andretti. NHRA drag racing has been well represented by John
Force, Al Hoffmann, Shirley Muldowney, Don Prudhomme, Bruce Larsen, Lori
Johns and Gordy Bonin. World of Outlaws stars have included
Steve Kinser and Sammy Swindell, plus others.

MOTORSPORTS
2006 offers race fans, racers, promoters,
distributors, manufacturers and sponsors involved in the sport the
opportunity to gather for one giant off-season event. Exhibits are
divided into four general sections in the EXPO Center which is all on
one level. The sections include product and speedway displays, Hard-Core
Racing Parts, Collectibles
and show areas. Exhibitors who give
away schedules, product samples, posters, novelty items or carry bags
order between 25-30,000.
Admission to the show is just $12 for adults, $3 for children
6-12 and under 6 is free. Senior Citizens receive $1 off admission.
Parking is free with shuttle bus service also provided free to lots
located away from front the entrance.

Awards given to U.S. Tobacco Ms. Motorsports contestants prior
to winner announcement. Awards include winners in Bathing Suit,
Sportswear and Photo Modeling segments of the contest.
Program includes pre-show mentions in news releases,
contest show advertisement and show program.
Signage available at stage during the show. Stage
announcements will be made during the show. A company representative should be on had to make
presentations to category winner in front of captive audience
and be a VIP judge.

Exciting
opportunities available for sponsorship of the 19th
annual Kid’s Big Wheel Races. Traditionally held
on Sunday of the show. Sponsorship is available separately or as
a package. Proposal includes pre-show mentions in news releases, contest
show advertisements and in show program.
Prime signage available at contest area during the events
and on the stage.
Best
of Show Awards
Your
company can be on the ballots that help choose the Best of Show
awards. A company
representative can then make the fan’s choice presentation,
first at the stage area on Sunday, and then at each individual
booth display along with the new Ms. MOTORSPORTS!
Photos are commonly used in racing publications and the
awards are cherished by all who exhibit.
A special ballot will be used for those attending the
show to choose their favorite displays.
At theses exhibits your company logo will signify which
number the display is and in which category you can vote.

Victory
Lane
A
unique sponsorship opportunity to put your company name in a
Victory lane photo setting for fans attending. Company corporate race car is center stage in the display
which depicts a real Victory Lane setting including checkered
flooring, winner’s wreath, checkered flag, large trophy and
best yet a real life Trophy Queen to make create a long
remembered photo. Sponsor
would have to make show car available for the project and could
add extra spice by making three large racing uniforms or team
shirts available for guest to jump into for the photo shoot.
Fans could use their own camera or have a quick photo done on
the spot. Signage
to the area would be exclusive for sponsor.
The special exhibit would get pre-show press release
mentions along with Show Program editorial publicity and great
signage opportunities.
Become
a Race Announcer!
Everyone
has disagreed with TV and speedway race announcers at least one
time! This is a
chance for everyone to see just how hard of a job it is.
Sponsorship is available to allow show attendees the opportunity
to put the headset on and announce a race as seen on a TV
monitory. A professional company handles the arrangements.
The sponsor benefits from the exposure not only at the
show, but before the gates open as well. Exclusive signage in
the event area is given along with program editorial to steer
show attendees to your display.
Added space adjoining the is available to present your
product, do sampling or other corporate promotions.
The
MOTORSPORTS Driving Champion
Professional
and amateur racers can have their chance to show off their
driving talents right at the show. Four-auto racing Video Games
linked together offer eight people the opportunity to race “on
screen” at one time. Exclusive
signage in the event area is given along with program editorial
to steer show attendees to your display.
Added space-adjoining area is available to present your
product, do sampling or other corporate promotions. Video firm
will handle all set-up of machines and service during the event.
The interest is guaranteed from opening to closing of the
show. Corporate
sportswear can be used as daily prizes with a trophy supplied to
the fastest racer of the weekend.
